On November 30, 2023 the Supreme Audit Institution of Curaçao (Supreme Audit Institution) entered into a cooperation agreement with the Supreme Audit Institution of Peru (“Controlaría General de la República de Perú”). The agreement was signed in Lima, Peru by Nelson Shack Yalta, Inspector-General of Peru and Eithel Vriend, Chairman of the Board of the Supreme Audit Institution. This was done during the XXXII General Meeting of the regional Supreme Audit Institutions organization, Organización Latinoamericana de Entidades Fiscalizadoras Superiores (OLACEFS) which took place in Lima, Peru from November 28 through December 1, 2023.(“Controlaría General de la República de Perú”).The agreement was signed in Lima, Peru by Nelson Shack Yalta, Inspector-General of Peru and Eithel Vriend, Chairman of the Board of the Supreme Audit Institution. This was done during the XXXII General Meeting of the regional Supreme Audit Institutions organization, Organización Latinoamericana de Entidades Fiscalizadoras Superiores (OLACEFS) which took place in Lima, Peru from November 28 through December 1, 2023.
The cooperation agreement is based on the principles of OLACEFS, which have, among other things, fundamental characteristics, realizing mutual technical cooperation and the sharing of knowledge and experience among its members. Its main objective is the sharing of determining the general framework to facilitate the institutional cooperation between the two Supreme Audit Institution. The further completion will take place shortly. The Supreme Audit Institution is delighted with this agreement; as it also offers its collaborators other possibilities to enrich themselves in a research-technical manner.
