High Councils of State and the Socio-Economic Council perpetuate mutual cooperation

On Thursday, May 24, 2018, the High Council of State and the Socio-Economic Council (SER) met. The meeting was held in the meeting room of the Supreme Audit Institution of Curaçao in Ansighnstraat. During this meeting, the respective (administrative) managers made concrete agreements to perpetuate their mutual cooperation.

The deliberation in which the Secretary of the Supreme Audit Institution, Mrs. C. Raphaela and the Director/General Secretary of the SER, Mr. R. Henriquez took place in a relaxed atmosphere. In this deliberation, topics like financial and personal self-management, strengthening their independent position within the Curaçao polity and setting up training programs and other activities jointly were further exchanged.

The Representatives of the High Councils of State and the Socio-Economic Council agreed that they would meet four times a year, based on a rotation system, to discuss themes of a common interest and to exchange knowledge and experience.

The next consultation will take place in August of this year.
