INTERNATIONAL INTEGRITY SEMINAR
‘STRENGTHENING PUBLIC SECTOR INTEGRITY – THE MOST CHALLENGING ISSUES’
Between March 4 and 8, 2019, the Hungarian Supreme Audit Institution organized the international seminar on the prevention of corruption for the sixth time. 31 Auditors participated from mainly Middle-Eastern, African, Central and South-American countries. The Supreme Audit Institution of Curaçao also participated here.
The purpose of the five-day professional event was the spreading of the culture of public administration, based on integrity. In addition, the goal was supporting the development of a transparent functioning of the State, mainly in the developing countries. This was done by, among other things, sharing the best Hungarian and other international practices during the seminar.
The seminar concentrated on the integrity of Tenders, the Tender Practice of the Public Sector and the effort of External Experts.
In addition to the above, the Participants could sign up to become a Member of the Integrity Project Group. This was only possible on a private website with access for the Members. The purpose of this group is to share knowledge and experience in connection with integrity among the Members via a so-called Product Presentation. Besides, it helps to maintain the contact among its Members.
